Hi Neri,
I consulted with some people and have some suggestions... but I think that before we do anything we should make sure it is ok with Donna. If it is, we can talk to HaMoked: center for the defence of the individual (02-6283555) or attorney Leah Tzemel 02-6279989. I can contact them but only after an OK from Donna. Yesterday she mentioned that taking this anywhere might create a problem for her to try to come here again in the future and I am sad to say she has a point. So we have to think of our steps carefully, ok?

The Information you brought is important I guess they may help us to know what is the appropriate procedure for people with background as Dona.

It is also need to be clear that it must not harm Dona's interests, and we need her to approve anything we do related to this.

As Israelis know that Arabs has a lot of pain going through Israeli security (even Israeli citizens) and we need to find the ways to get better processes and reduce the harm from the current security issues. We need to help Israel better behave.

Hi Donna and everyone,
Does anyone have any idea if it might it be possible to try to get the Israeli govt. (really, someone in it) to create a steamlined procedure for admitting people to Israel who have been pre-screened in advance somehow, and thus avoid problems at the borders for all who can be pre-screened? I know this would be a big job, but I'd be willing to do whatever I can to help.

Just tossing the idea out there.

I would be surprised if such a procedure did not exit already. Clearly such a procedure was not in place for Donna when she tried to enter..
