We are organizing a conference for Arab and Jewish Diaspora communities in the US. One of the goals of the conference is to examine the influence members of Jewish and Arab Diaspora communities have on both peacemaking and war making and how their personal interactions in the event might shed light on some of the deeper sources of conflict and potential for a just peace.
This very compelling and unusual work allows individuals to examine the unconscious dynamics at play in groups which can have very significant impact on the difference between what groups and organizations intend to accomplish and what they actually accomplish. Hi Folks,
We are organizing a MEPeace Cafe for Cleveland March 7th! So far I have 37 rsvps from peacemakers in Cleveland who want to come.Here is the basic info:
Peace Café - March 7th 7:00-9:30 – Café Ah-Roma 2230 Euclid Ave.
Join other with other peace makers who are at work on the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict for an intimate evening of conversations that matter. The evening will be an opportunity for peace makers to come together for friendship, inspiration, and to generate new ideas for our work.
This is a program of MEpeace, a social networking site that has made it possible for peace makers in Israel, Palestine and beyond to meet and talk about what is most important to them in a respectful manner. The founder of mepeace.org, Eyal Raviv will be in Cleveland to facilitate the evening. The evening will be run in the World Café style. There will be many tables of 4-6 people so that everyone has a chance to share their mind and contribute.

I have a mission to establish Peace on Earth by 2027. The short method is Education + Prosperity = Peace. The only way to have peace is to eliminate poverty and as long as the wealthy benefit by haiving poverty we do not stand much of a chance to eliminate it. So we have to educate everyone in the world to understand how to manage and develop resources. The Internet facilitates this with online education.

Not much happening in this group! Here is a suggestion. Everyone buy a copy of 'What's Right with Islam is what's Right wit America' by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf available at Borders and no doubt ather bookstores. Read it and lets start a discussion about it. I ahve nearly finished reading it so you have some catching up to do.
