No peace without justice...

Hello Peacemakers,

Today I picked up a journal to begin writing down my view of my life experiences. On its cover are the words "Live, Love and Dance"

I have yet to pick up a pen, but an idea came to mind. What if we all collaborated on publishing a book on how to bring about peace for the children and the next genreations to come? What would be possible if we "shed a little light" on each of our own humanity, bridging all differences and misunderstanding regarding the insanity of conflict and the impact on all children?

It would be my intention that each of us say something new and something not based on the past and not even the present. I guess I am asking for each of us to write from a clean slate and ground our thoughts in what type of world children, particularly those in harms way, would want the opportunity to grow up in.

Basically, I am asking each of you to consider the brilliant, amazing and extraordinary

And I know I would have to give up my attachments to holding on to my past and even my present views on things. I would work on creating this beautifyul world from nothing I know or have experienced.

I have a good friend in publishing who I beleive would help us geet this published.

In terms of proceeds, we could look at revenue going to Where Peace Lives, OneVoice and MePeace projects in Israel and Palewstine.

I dare to speak the dreams of children for a world that allows them to grow up free, safe and strong, with a voice to declare a future of peace.

I look forward to your responses.

Thank you all for being people making a difference in the world.

Much love and peace,
Jeff Rudy

~When you love a Palestinian Woman~

When you love a Palestinian woman,
the essence of resistance seeps into your existence;
you comprehend
the meaning of persistence.

In her eyes you may see
residues of a tear,
but never a sign of fear.

When you love a Palestinian woman,
your heart is tuned
to the beat of a heart
that can never forget.

When you love a Palestinian woman
you love every wave
that kisses the shores of her land,
every olive tree in Galilee,
every particle of salt
in the Dead Sea.

When you love a Palestinian woman,
you love a smile
mysteriously mixed with pain unknown to others;
and a laugh that was choked
when the land was separated from its faithful lovers.

When you love a Palestinian woman
you love a spirit
that inherited the will to stand,
and eyes
that terrify guards at check-points,
in a way no man can.

How can any man love
but a Palestinian woman?
