Thank you, Shells,

I believe quite a few of the youth groups I've mentioned are already on Mepeace. And I agree, Mepeace is indeed a good place to invite them to communicate/contribute, however I've made but one or two contacts with the NGO founders.

So far, my main work concentrated on selecting, creating pages and grouping them on wiserearth.org which takes a great deal of my time. If, and, or when I'll contact them I shall most certainly forward your invitation.

All the best

With love

Narda

thanks Narda.. for all your sharings... i will be using some time this week to look at all your links and am wondering.... if maybe through your contacts maybe some of those involved in these links/ projects, that have received already some help with their education... maybe they would like to join us here and share with us how they might like us to help them on their continued journey into jobs or voluntary work perhaps? or have an area on mepeace to showcase their achievements, hopes and dreams? just a humble thought...

thanks. with love

Dear Eihab
Thank you, and Staghfar Allah, God forbid, this is not at all my intention! This was an additional post to a list I've posted here about 2 weeks ago in response to Shell's request to know whether there were any youth groups in communication.

The list of groups were taken from lists I've been working on on WiserEarth.org. Have a look at the full list collected so far

Narda Azaria Dalgleish Comment by Narda Azaria Dalgleish on October 25, 2009 at 2:06pm
Ah, forgot to mention that Israeli and Palestinian students started it together as a school in 1983 !!!
This is what they said on their old website:

Re'ut-Sadaka works with over 500 Jewish and Arab youth annually and reaches thousands more by speaking in Jewish and Arab high schools across the country. Since its establishment, more than 7,000 high school students have participated in youth groups, seminars, workshops and field trips, and more than 30,000 have attended lectures about the values of tolerance, understanding and the ways in which they can contribute to the shaping of a new social and political reality of coexistence.

Dear Shells
If you're still interested, I've forgotten about these people, Sadaka-Reut - this is their new website

target="_blank">http://en.reutsadaka.org/?page_id=872

This is what they say

Since 2000…

• 40 young adults have graduated from the only Arab-Jewish leadership training program – an intensive year of joint living/work/enrichment/training

• Over 1,000 youth have participated in the framework of our ‘groups’ project

• Since the beginning of the Towards a Common Future project (tolerance education workshops within schools) in 2004, we have worked with over 3,000 students in 15 Arab and Jewish high schools

• In 2006, we established a youth community center in the city of Jaffa – the ‘Markaz’

• We have initiated and implemented over 6 nationwide summer youth campaigns
