I'm a member of a young Lebanese association called "Peace Initiatives". Most founders are alumni of Saint Joseph University, a fellow Jesuit University, and that's where our headquarters are located.

I've read about your program through a message sent to me by John.W, I represent the palestinian partner on this site and working with the founder Eyal Raviv to help mepeace grow and reach everybody and to be able to use it as a tool of making peace between Israelis and Palestinians, people abroad as well.

John forwarded me your request gfor partnership. As yo9u may know after 29 years in teh US (including being professor at Duke and Yale Universities), I cam back to Palestine to teach at Bethlehem University and do peace work here. I am now chairman of the board of the Palestinain Center for Rapprochement Between People (http://www.pcr.ps/) a center that had done nonviolence training and action for over 20 years including its leadership in the tax revolt and establishment of teh International Solidarity Movement. I am also writing a book on history, theory, and practive of NVR in Palestine over teh past 120 years. Anyway, I would love for us to collaborate with your students, visits exchanges etc. Please email me at mazin@qumsiyeh.org and/or qumsi001@hotmail.com so that we may directly discuss your needs etc.
