This is a work in progress group that is a peace for Palestine group, to help build a strong Palestinian camp internationally. The Israelis have Gush Shalom. We need to network with them and other groups. We have to be another voice.

Profile Information

My personal story:

I served in the German army for 8 years and was, during that time, deployed to several peace support operations. At the moment I'm studying towards a degree in International Studies. My main research area is the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. I speak/understand Hebrew and Arabic to an extent.

Why I want peace:

The conflict simply can't go on that way. What is needed is an approach that focuses on human security instead of traditional (military) security. I would like to help people empower to work towards a lasting peace solution.

Interests and activities:

I like learning languages (mostly in my free time), music, and, most of all, my family (my wife and our 5-year old daughter).
