Karl Marx was a fraud. Mark Engels was the brains behind the marxism approach. To this day I am not sold on this approach. It appears to be used by great masterminds world wide and the build a berger and tri-laterical commission seem to support it...

That was a nice video, Paul. In my opinion, wars are, in the end, are insane and so are the manufactured ideologies that lead to wars. I can understand self-defense and support it, but in the end what leads to self defense is often human insanity....

It is true, Samir, conveniently refused to speak in what Lebanese people call Lebanese. Some don't even call it Arabic and call it Lebanese, but, yet, he refused to speak Lebanese and only spoke vaguely about Lebanese politics. I am not saying he ...

Neri, I agree that many bad things happened in Lebanon because of the PLO, but as I said if the Palestinians weren't made refugees then it would not have happened and also the fact was that the Maronite leadership did not give enough power to the...

Dear Samir, Good to see you with us. I agree with you that the "conflict" of Palestine influenced the stability and livelihood in Lebanon. I think we disagree on the blame game, blaming the Palestinians will not solve the problems created by th...

Basil I love Lebanon very much but not its politics. Your Palestinians came in after being expelled from Jordan and took over the South and other swatches of land as their fiefdoms and making the lives of my people a living hell. You attacked Isra...

Hello Samir from west of the Missouri. I have worked within this region as a freelance researcher since 2000. I have made heavy commitments and worked with the whitehouse on numerous topics. although some of the topics seem retortical and useless they are creating enormous growth through non-profits and structure. My senator has re-introduced a 9 million dollar package to be touted by the new secretary of state Clinton. Wael has created a new site that will structure constitutions and is backed by several governmental organizations. Wafa is continuing to work as a great photographer and documenting the history. Neri's group has done great strides within Israel and Palestine to bring collective beginnings. There are over 1,400 people that are registered on the site and many others come to read the posts and react from Iran to yours truely the infamous bin ladin! So, this site is having a great impact. email if you want to learn more or if you want a place in bringing one place some micro / macro economics. Any one can build but a man who builds a strong foundation will bring lasting results. I challenge you to bring your tallents to the table. I will find you a place if only you ask. Just remember that in Palestine they have been denied fishing for food. Its the little things we take for granted. Wouldn't it be nice if we could box up all those frozen fish in our freezers and send them the harvest of our lives. I will await your response.

Salamat, Shlomo, Shalom, Bonjour, Buon Giorn Signor Samir,

Keefak? I hope that we can understand that the world we live in is our responsibility, and we all are composed of devils and angels, and no one is without their responsibilities when it comes to war and peace. I hope you can help me and others promote an entente. There are things that I like that comes from some Israelis and Palestinians on this site. You are welcome. Just think about how you can help. I don't say to abandon any of your views, though I've had views that I've abandoned. Seek to be balanced, warm, understanding and fair. I understand your views, and I hope we can encourage respect for both the Palestinians and Israelis as posters over here.

Shukran, Merci....

Samir,

can you tell us about your background?

being so one-sided toward the Zionist agenda is unique and I did not met Arab/Palestinians who say the things you say.

The Issue of Palestine is a question of future and not of a past, especially not the Jewish past. what ever happened to the Jews cannot justify occupation and lack of civil rights as the Palestinians of TODAY life condition so clear.

Part of the explanation is in the Past of Palestinians and Israelis but the solution is based on our vision of the future.

CAN SUPPOSED PEACE SITES BRING PEACE

I have been here for about a day and am simply flabbergasted at the finger pointing at Israel and outright untruths being bandied about. It is inconceivable that a sight that allows a single topic of blaming Israel for all the worlds ills would ring in peace any time soon.

This morning out of 6 topics 5 dealt with the evils of Israel from the treatment of Israeli women, to the misbehavior of the IDF to the trivial lack of Jam for Gaza.

An Israeli or Jew or any human being that was impartial wo… Continue

I agree Oliver. It is interesting that honest attempts at communication are often greeted in places like this with jeers and patronising and derogatory presumptions about the perceived other's "real" intentions.

Yes, Paul, communication is crucial indeed. "Simplistic slogans" won't help in the long term, that's clear. But honest and clear communication requires courageousness on all sides. Slogans are, in my view, often (as you also imply above) an 'indiv...
