Am greatly moved by the personal stories that I have heard during my time here. Still looking for what I can do once I go back home that will truly help in the real sense of the word.

It's actually a reflection of the Israeli religious ministry which serves to uphold the dominance of Judaism in Israel. In that respect it's not much different than most middle eastern countries.
