My story is long and winding.
In short, while I was always a pro-peace person, about four years ago I had a sort of revelation - something "switched on" in my brain and I felt I had to act upon all the ideas and feeling that accumulated over the years.
I took a spoken (3amiye) Arabic course, that opened up many possibilities to make direct connections with Arabic-speaking Palestinians; I joined various activities involving Palestinians, Israelis and Internationals; made friends with Palestinians in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza.

I'm constantly trying to fight my own prejudices, become more open minded and learn more about people everywhere.

It's actually a reflection of the Israeli religious ministry which serves to uphold the dominance of Judaism in Israel. In that respect it's not much different than most middle eastern countries.
