As a Jewish woman, I have lived in Israel for most of my life. Israel is my home and, in my opinion, Israel has great potential for success, although this can only be achieved when our society can live together in mutual respect.
There are so many positive aspects in our society, if we could only rise above ourselves, and honestly give peace a chance.
Why I want peace:
First of all, war/conflict destroys, degenerates, and weakens society. Second, people get hurt beyond repair, either physically or mentally, without even mentioning the children, whom grow up with seeds of life-long self-destructive hatred and racism. I could go on and make a long case of the advantages of co-existence, but to cut it short, as Ghandi said: An eye for an eye makes us all blind.
Interests and activities:
art, reading, crafts, hiking, travel, and more...
Something you didn't know about me:
Many things...
How I found mepeace.org:
Just stumbled upon it
What I want to achieve here:
I think that together, not only me, but all of us, just might be able to get more people involved. Many people mistrust the "other" side because of ignorance, and I hope to get more people aware of the history and issues of each other, which in turn could grow into a kind of understanding, and even mutual respect.

I don't know if you remember Mat3am Abu Rami, but I used to watch it when I was in the seventh grade. It brings a smile to my face whenever I remember it.
Real cooperation can only happen if the goals and context are clear, perhaps toward a common political platform. Dialog for its own sake has not historically worked in this country. There have been dialog groups between Israelis and Palestinians sin…
There are indeed too many armchair know-it-alls. They're probably the same ones who avoided military service during the Vietnam War. We have our share of those here in Jordan, too.

This is a work in progress group that is a peace for Palestine group, to help build a strong Palestinian camp internationally. The Israelis have Gush Shalom. We need to network with them and other groups. We have to be another voice.
