last but not least - my english should sound funny sometimes, cause i think mostly in hebrew, & never i had learn the language properly. however - i hope to get better as time goes by & i hope i won't be incomprehensible

- peace will make our world better. we would have less things to be frightened of, & we could concentrate on solving other threats to our security, & live a peaceful live.

i want to make contacts with people in my region.
i want to have a place to publish my stuff & a blog.
all of that i can (& does) do in lots of places in the net.
above all - i hope my presence here will contribute to peace somehow.

i'm still not sure what's going on with my fidget blog, but maybe some of you may recall one of my earliest post here which was called "in the name of co existence" in which i spoke about my attempts to find a job involving my skills, probably as a musician, in one of the arab settlements in my region. well - today i officially started a work as a recorder teacher in a school in Nazareth. not exactly my region but close enough. just thought you'd be happy to hear about it.

Gaza
i'll start with - why won't they surrender? israel is much more powerful, & the attacks can stop at once if they'll surrender. don't they care? where is the self responsibility?
& they could have avoid it all...
& they committed war crimes on a regular basis, & still are - the missiles keep flying from Gaza strip to israelis cities...
but then again - what an horror. around 300 people dead & a 1000 injured so far.

I am a Palestinian Arab from Hizmeh, a village between Jerusalem and Ramallah. When I was 15 years old I fought against the Israeli Occupation in search of freedom. At that time I thought every Jewish person, whether soldier or citizen, man or woman, young or old, should be killed. I rejected the right for any Jew to live and every Jew was a target. I was just a kid, believe me, and I didn’t understand anything about politics or the Arab-Israeli conflict. I was arrested and sat in jail for 12 years. This was during the first intifada from 1987. At that time nobody talked about peace but only of violence. I matured during my time in jail. I started studying and reading books on politics, literature, poetry, and about the Madrid Conference.
It gave me hope to live in peace and dignity. I learned that violence only breeds violence and that peace is the only solution for the two nations, the only way for both to have a respectful and beautiful future. We live on the same land. We are neighbors. We drink the same water and both pray to a monotheistic God. We must live in peace on the basis of religion for God and land for everyone.

I wish I could say that music will bring peace...

Did you live for a long time in Rehovot? I worked in bank hapoalim for almost a year (can't remember the branch name) and lived in Aseret which is nearby.
