Well I think that a lot of the Jews I met were concerned about was being open about being Jewish. I feel that many feel uncomfortable about the anger and violence being stemmed from the Arabs and Muslims there, and they feel that they will get verbally attacked for being pro-Israel.
Many I was told that they can not wear their Star of David or Yamulkah without getting attacked.
Again, I did not experience this ( I had quite a positive experience in London-- I love how diverse it is! :) ), but I am going to find more info about it!
I unfortunatly do not go to Harvard-- I am definantly not that smart! :P (I could never get in this life, since I am horrible at standarized tests!!).
I had an internship for the summer in Boston, and I lived in Cambridge for the summer! It was great! :) So sad I have to go back to school!!!
Where in the UK go to school?
I actually went with my Hebrew school in February of 2005, to see what Jewish culture was like there. My tour guide (who grew up in London) told me that I had to keep a low profile about being openly Jewish, since they said that there was a lot of "anti-semitism" there. I found that to be rediculous. What do you think?
