يا امي فلسطين
كلُّ مُسَمَّيَاتِ الأرضِ بعدَكِ
ليسَ تَعْنِينِي
وكلُّ مُسَطَّحِ الكونِ الرَّحِيبِ وراءَ سُورِكِ
ليسَ يَكْفِيني
أَنا يا أمَّ هذي الأرضِ
يا وَطَنِي الْمُصَادَرَ تَحتَ سَمْعِ الخَيْلِ
يا حُلُمِي المُسَافِرِ تَحتَ جُنْحِ الليلِ
في أَنْيابِ تِنِّينِ
فلسطيني.. فلسطيني
أيا عِشْقًا تربَّع في حنايا القلبِ
في تَكْوينِ تَكْويني
أَنا يا ضَوْعَ عِطرِ الكونِ
يا رُوحَ الرَّياحينِ
ويا جُوعًا بقلبي كادَ يُفنِيني
أنا أهواكِ في زَمَنِ انْعِدامِ الْوَزْنِ
في زَمَنِ انزِلاقِ الرُّوحِ
هل يا عِشْقِيَ المجنونَ
أَحلُمُ أَنْ تُحِبِّيني؟

وَحَقِّ مقامِ أَقْصَاكِ الْمُصَفَّدِ في الزَّنازينِ
وحقِّ سنابلِ القمحِ التي صُلِبَتْ
على حَدِّ السَّكاكينِ
وحقِّ عُيونِ أَطفالِ الحجارةِ والمساجينِ
وحقِّكِ
إنَّني ما زِلتُ
رغمَ جميعِ ما جُرِّعْتُ مِنْ غَدرٍ
ومِنْ قَهْرٍ وتَدجينِ
أَنا البركانُ تَصْغُرُ عندَ غَضْبَتِهِ
جميعُ عواصِفِ الدُّنيا
وثوراتُ البراكينِ

تَطاوَلَ ليلُ هذا اللّيلِ في لَيلِ الملايينِ
أما آنَ الأوانُ لكي تُعيديني؟
