Basil. I know that Yifat bis still young and impressionable and you are her older "brother" but I do not think that she is not capable of fighting her own battles and learning what some older Jews have to say and teach her. Basil based on your p...

I am mad

A few days ago a article asked “How come Jews aren’t enrage about what the state of Israel is doing?”
Well, guess what… I am…
I am mad too know, that every day 10 minutes from my house somebody gets killed, violated, hurt- and nobody tell us… our news lie to us, they give us a front of liberalism, but they don’t show us the truth… that those actions reflect to me… that we are conditioned to be silent about what is happening in our back yard.
Today, Israel destroyed 65 homes in east Jerusalem- th… Continue

The Arab-Jews story as a way to promote understanding between Israelis and Palestinians

There has been a lot of talk in the Israeli media (and world media) about using the story of the holocaust as a way to promote understanding between the two sides. Yes, both sides need to understand the grievances of the other side-Nakba/holocaust – in order to understand the root of this conflict and to try to solve it. We can't end this conflict without acknowledging each other pain.
But I propose something new…
With all my dealing with Palestinians- which unfortunately were few- I learn a few… Continue

A solution for the middle east- part 2

Since I wrote the last essay, I had a few more suggestions from friends and strangers. I must say that they are all humorous, so dear reader- don’t take them seriously ( I did write some serious stuff the last essay- so if you want to have a serious conversation read it here: ).

The first solution suggested by a few friends from Bezalel (the art school I go too). While most borders and economic relationship between Israel and Arab countries (including the Palestinian territories) are closed. Th… Continue

The blame game!

This post talks mainly about the Middle East and the peace process, but it could be relevant about any human conflict.
While reading many dissections concerning the Middle East conflict (and not just by Israelis and Palestinians), there is one thing that appears to be the main problem in every one of those dissections- Finger Pointing.
Instead of having a serious conversation about the issues, the two sides are to busy trying to prove that their sides is correct and that the other side is wrong… Continue

A solution for the Middle East

First, I must say this pic is partly humoristic- and while part of it should be discussed seriously, some parts are not very serious. I imagine that fairly intelligent human being will understand which is which.

I also must say that I am not an historian or a politician, and the view I write here are my views- and my views only. Nor do I presume to say that I know all the facts, or to give the point of view of Israelis (and of course of Palestinians). As I said, those are my views and my view o… Continue
