The Atkin Fellowship is aimed at promoting new thinking among young leaders - typically from government, business, academia, and the media - who occupy positions from they can shape politics and public opinion in Israel and the Arab world.
Atkin Fellows are young leaders - typically with jobs in government, business, academia, or the media. They are graduates who speak English and are based in the Middle East at the time of their application.
The Fellowship aims to attract young leaders from Israel and its Arab neighbours. In 2008/09, all our Arab Fellows were Palestinian. In order to offer 'young leaders' from other Arab countries an opportunity to become Atkin Fellows, for the forthcoming intake, in addition to Israelis, we are looking for Syrian and Jordanian nationals only.
