Power: Is It The Key for True Peace and Justice? by Wael Al Saad

After Gaza slaughters, the callings and thoughts of unity have risen in a noticeable way, which are considered a positive signs, and indicates to the mass mental reserves our people have.

In most of my writings and thoughts I mention the importance of making tools to integrate them ( ideas and thoughts) so we could (return) the process of dissect our cause accurately in an integral, scientific, and organized way from all sides and Palestinian points of views using the attribute of the fact that since generations we have been existing in different places holding different cultures and experiences, in addition to the national and international advocacy for us which will provide us with all the possibilities and conditions to open the way for our unity despite the fact that we don’t quietly need anyone, since it is not warranted to get sufficient with individual awareness in this complication and complexity of issues.

We can't blame ourselves especially our official leaders, as they seem to be afraid of redemption, because it could be on the account of their positions and interests.

It is unreasonable to have the destiny of over than 10,000 Palestinians in the hands of a few hundreds of greedy selfish political leaders.

We are still living in the time of powers and strength which generate dominance, oppression, and occupation in all its different forms.

Who believes that power is the key for true peace and justice?
Yes in the meantime we will have to understand the language of the power equation so we can balance and change it.
Here in Germany for example, there are 100,000 Palestinians, 1,000,000 Arabs, and 1,500,000 Muslims who can do nothing in front of the Zionist machine of influence.

If we were in a better level of awareness and organizing that goes along with challenge and the powers equation then all of the German and European organizations and institutions would have flounced for what is going on with our people in Gaza and everyplace else. without a complete organizing many has done very well in showing solidarity and advocacy for Gaza, but we all have ambitions to be better….

In addition to the powers equation and its language we need to design and develop a new language:
1- A language that will carry us and the whole world from the moldy and fatal system of powers for humans and stones.
2- liberating the earth from the dominancy of the superior minorities since today the mass media and telecommunication tools could be used effectively so the majority will practice their authorities and responsibilities.
3- Liberating nations from what comes after the factitious imperials and nations that are not for their people but for the powerful superiorities in a world that is opened for some minds which insist to remain closed.
**That way we will become partners for millions who are working day and night all over the world to change the global framework and the components of human and land destruction.

In my opinion, if we could put the right basis for a new start then there will be in front of us as Palestinians a chance to put a new view for the philosophy of ruling and coexisting that will go beyond limitations and liberate humanity from all forms of oppression and arbitrariness, and the Zionists will be folded under the rules of the new rules and language or they will eject them. And they will leave searching for a country on moon or mars.

We as Palestinians are obliged to participate in the global creativity parturition, and if you asked me I will say let us be in the front.

An idea:- why don’t we organize for a Palestinian -Palestinian conferences, where there would be organizing and distribution for the thoughts and theories in the proposed papers within a unified project.

Best wishes
Wael Al-Saad

The greatest victory of the Palestinian people would be the development of a fully functional society.

Palestinian development of a fully functional society will enable the Israelis too the development of a fully functional society - i.e. get rid of its Jewish-centric democratic model to a more civilized and modern state model of state for all its citizens participated in the whole-state nations fabric of this planet working with Palestinians to help others to rich that level.

so Palestinian development will enable Israel development and be part of our palnet development for a better safer richer place for our children.

"Everyone is thinking of changing the world, but no one is thinking of changing himself " Leo Tolstoy
This is a wise quote Hiba. I suggest it can be used to address some of the issues brought up in this post.

We can't blame ourselves especially our official leaders, as they seem to be afraid of redemption, because it could be on the account of their positions and interests.

I find blame to be counterproductive to learning and growth. Taking responsibility however is the second step to this process. The first is clear self awareness. I refer back to the Tolstoy quote.

It is unreasonable to have the destiny of over than 10,000 Palestinians in the hands of a few hundreds of greedy selfish political leaders. I completely agree. I would humbly suggest that instead of engaging in finger pointing, mechanisms are employed to develop competent leaders.

We are still living in the time of powers and strength which generate dominance, oppression, and occupation in all its different forms.
This appears to be the case throughout the entire Arab world which is ruled by an oligarchy of some sort or another. There are alternatives to this type of rule and, though difficult to develop, can be accomplished, as has been done in other parts of the world, most notably in Asia. (Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea are three such examples in the last century).

Who believes that power is the key for true peace and justice?
Yes in the meantime we will have to understand the language of the power equation so we can balance and change it
. Power is an element in all human functioning. There are systems of government that allow for more freedoms, individual rights, and protections of them.
Here in Germany for example, there are 100,000 Palestinians, 1,000,000 Arabs, and 1,500,000 Muslims who can do nothing in front of the Zionist machine of influence. This last statement serves to negate the logic and sensibility of the previous points this writer makes, and indicates how it is this bias that may be the greatest influence contributing to a feeling of helplessness, even IF such a Zionist influence exists.

There is no shortage of intelligence and creativity among the Palestinian people. I long for the day when this tremendous potential is embraced and used to develop civil structures conducive to growth and development, rather than funneled into the prolonged resistance to real (and imagined) threats. The greatest victory of the Palestinian people would be the development of a fully functional society.

I agree Oliver. It is interesting that honest attempts at communication are often greeted in places like this with jeers and patronising and derogatory presumptions about the perceived other's "real" intentions.

Yes, Paul, communication is crucial indeed. "Simplistic slogans" won't help in the long term, that's clear. But honest and clear communication requires courageousness on all sides. Slogans are, in my view, often (as you also imply above) an 'indiv...

It's actually a reflection of the Israeli religious ministry which serves to uphold the dominance of Judaism in Israel. In that respect it's not much different than most middle eastern countries.
