This a stage in a discussion created with Wael Al Saad about the concept of communal brain a term he propose "Palestine Brain". One of the questions Wael put was about the difference between Palestinian Brain and Palestine brain.

Here Is reaction to that idea of "Communal Brain" where I try to investigate more deeply into the structure of communal wold views and communal processes. I focus on the Israeli/Zionist/Jewish system that I know, while I accept ignorance about the content of Arab,Palestine, Arab-Israeli.
I use the term ethno-centric to describe a world view where there is great weight on evaluation of what is good. If you fill unconformable with the term it is referrer to wiki:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnocentrism
The notion of Communal Brain as "Palestine Brain" link us to the general notion that human groups tend to create culture and process knowledge to create better life condition. Communal Brain point to the communal processes that structure the communal actions and values. This concept scheme enable us to differentiate the personal from the communal and still acknowledge both perspectives. There is one line of connection that cored in people who seek the Communal Brain and that they recognize their responsibility that exceeds their personal needs and includes the needs of the whole.
Feeling responsibility for the Whole originates with consciousness of being embedded in the community of Your People (family, tribe, culture, nation, religion, humanity etc.) And as this identity and awareness expands, it escorts one on an ever-widening journey of broadening scopes of inclusive relationship. The perspective grows and continues to widen and to encompass not only all people on this beautiful blue-green planet we call Earth, all sentient beings and non-sentient beings; everything involved in the processes and systems of life Planet Earth. Some even say this inclusive perspective can stretch even beyond our Planet to consciousness of the universe. It is from here, I believe, where we can find our way back to the spiritual roots.
We can speak of different brains. Many different brains. Palestine Brain. Israel Brain, Ethno-centric Brain, World-centric, Patriarchal Brain, Feminist Brain, Socialist Brain, Democratic Brain. Many different brains emerging from different paths. It is significant to recognize the role of life conditions in shaping the contents; stories, beliefs, outlooks, inlooks socio-economic structure and value-systems of our variant brains.
To be able to be part of a more complex level of communion, according to developmental models (and even in chaos theory and complexity sciences), one must pass through the ethnocentric stage as a foundational element in order to be able to hold worldcentric perspective and more complex inclusive views. It is a necessary developmental phase that cannot by bypassed. One cannot grow a leg without first growing bones that are structural components of a leg.
These developmental stages of awareness effect the quality of the world views of a nation. The ethnocentric brain of Israel (predominantly Jewish population) emerged in parallel with the European stages of national identity. This has resulted as both a blessing and a curse for both Israel and Palestine. Any individual can access any of the levels of views. And in the density of the community we can recognize groupings with different centers of gravity and patterns of thinking and outlook. Nationhood is a group process emergent through a historical narrative, stories we hold dear and near in our brains.
For example, one can see how the German Brain at the beginning of the 20th century developed an extreme, fierce ethnocentric view. This view meshed with the most sophisticated knowledge technological and otherwise, available on the planet ever at that time. The German Brain of the early 20th century was activated through the agency of the national-socialist movement which triggered the hubris of a group of like-minded humans and set them in a course to lead and 'serve' humanity by controlling it. Control is a normal structural feature of the National Brain in any form. In relation to our example of the German Brain, its ardent identification and Nation vision made it blind to other perspectives and thus brought World War II upon that generation.
Life conditions rendered by WW II and evolving notions of Nationalistic forms in Europe, the Soviet Union at the time indeed had a seminal shaping effect on the emerging "Zionist Brain". The Israel Brain is rooted in the 19th century Jewish Brain (the national identity part) which we can recognize as Zionist Brain. The Zionist Brain is a set of ideas and world view that was captured by many. Zionist Brain processes were manifested in literature and activities that were focused on creating a national state for Jews. This group managed to organize "national state" organizations even before Israel declared in 48. These organizations (social organizations responsible for health and work, armed defense etc.) were later strengthen the power of the Jewish-Zionist to manifest Israel from 1948. This was a crucial combination of factors that stimulated a group of people rooted to the Jewish Brain to mesh and culminate in the energetic thrust that created Israel … and create the Naqba.
Looking at this more deeply, The Zionist Brain is a product of the Jewish Brain that is here for 5,000 years.
I think not many noticed how the Jewish brain formed, and the simplicity and beauty of the process recorded in the Old Testament. When there is a sacred ritual that is essential part of makes you Jewish – you must tell the story of the exodus from Egypt every year. This story kept in the Jewish brain (tradition) feeds the Jewish identity and enabled it to survive in the world of other identities. The Jewish traditional practice of the last 2000 years to study enriched humanity as we can find statistically significant many Jewish originate people involved in breakthrough. The Holocaust is significant event in the forming of the Jewish brain and it tide most of its energy toward the creation of Israel. Sadly from the circumstances of the time, the dominant view was nationalist hence the Jews invested in an ethno-centric creation.
As we know this Zionist project succeeded in creation a modern relatively strong state. Israel security issues continue to exist and present threats from the "terrorists" or "atomic bombs" that continue question Israel survival. This pushes the Zionist brain see as it is the Jewish brain and reject more world-centric identity. There exists deep expectation from all Jews to support Israel and identify with it. A lot of Israelis think of Israeli as Jewish and blind to the Arab part within Israel (20% of the populations are Arab). From a world-centric Jewish identity we can see how the international Jewish communities now try to support Arabs as well as Jews. While we have the Palestinian problem the attraction of the Zionist view of Judaism is very strong. This is one of the lines within the Jewish-Zionist that directly affected by the Palestinians, Israelis and the Zionist brain is working to justify itself as it is attacked by the ideas of Palestinian identity.
The Palestine Brain exists for some times, it has strong roots in the Arab world that I am too ignorant to describe in details. Its venues and narrative path are vogue to a person like me, but from what I have studied the Arab wisdom has no inferiority from the European – Jewish structure. Its focus is different values then the Jewish one and its path different in many ways. Palestine brain is an Arab brain driven by the sting of the Naqba. And this brain is about to get independence and while It is forming to manifest itself it can access technology and knowledge that even the Zionist did not have. The Palestine brain has the capacity to forge a path of peace into the Arab brain. As in this generation many Palestinians in the western world are more educated and wealthier. The Jordanian state (kingdom) shows strength and open spirit that can support this nation going though its hard transition from oppressed population to of becoming autonomous successful state as the Palestinians deserve to be.
As the Palestine Brain forge now the Palestine future it has many advantages for development. While the Atmosphere of the 19th and beginning of 20th century were strongly influenced by National emergence the Palestine brain has capacity of perspective the Zionist brain could not hold. With the Technology we have today the Palestine Brain has access to communication and knowledge sharing technologies that were not in any one dream till 50 years ago and ideas that recognize the global forces that has much more direct influence on individuals.

Original Palestinian brain refers to many interrelated hidden systems that go beyond any man-made frameworks and models. Our brain was designed by nature and real human experiences. Palestinian Brain refers to values, faith, worldview and our hidden connections with our universal systems. Palestinian evolution throughout history provided our brain with many dimensions that are still hidden in the world of unknowns (by mainstream science). Therefore, for Palestinians were accused regularly for being irrational by mainstream standards. Recently, behavioral economists (mainstream science) started to realize that our world is totally irrational.
This evolving system of Palestinian brain has sustained many challenges in modern history. We have survived including Isreali ethinc cleansing, external manipulation and internal corruption. More importantly, it enabled us to live in harmony within our natural systems. We had prosperous relationship with our nature. This natural harmony was reflected in our lifestyles, professions, prayers, arts and songs. Unlike other communal brains, our brain adopted green choices to conserve nature and humanity. In contrast, Western brain (including Israel) dominated by selfish- interests inflicted destruction on natural and human systems worldwide including Palestine. Unfortunately, other communal brains started to realize the value of green choices just recently
The mainstream Israeli brain was manufactured behind closed doors to serve certain colonial interests. In the last century, Israeli brain was founded by a group of lawyers, unethical policy makers, soldiers and bankers. More importantly, it was (designed) through historical fabrication, stereotypes, money and terrorism. Therefore, it is now facing existential challenges because it can't sustain the openness and inclusion of today's world and the instant interplay between human and natural systems. This Israeli outdated brain, is now seen as computer virus that might represents high risks. More precisely, Israel couldn't live in harmony with its surrounding cultures and countries. Israelis perceived themselves (and were perceived) as strangers in the region. In the new world of self-organizing systems, Israelis need to explore their brain frameworks more critically. The threats facing Israel in the 21st century are embedded in its outdated and irrelevant brain.

Fascinating, Khaled! And I suppose Hamas, the Palestinian brain's choice for government, is the epitome of what this brain stands for, the Palestinian brain's ideal. As I said before, peace will only come when we can all accept the other rationally without demonising them ... but the first step is to want co-existence and dialogue, and to see your own faults as well as those of others. Neri's original posting is a good example of what I mean.

Hamas is a phenomena. Khaled explained "Meanings of being Palestinian" what is absolutely true. It is the authentic voice of Palestine.

Do you have pictures of Palestinian giving roses to israeli soldiers at their evacuation from Ramallah in 1994??????
That is the truth of Palestinian .. they easly forget every thing in the first Intifada and was clapping for peace .. emotional and naive some times.
What have the ignorance, materialistic Israeli society "described by Khaled as well " did??
If there is journalists, film maker here can investigate this period and focus on it, to explain the "Brain" nature for each side, it will help each side and the world to understand where are the problems.
Khaled described what I tried to do in my original post about the "romantic" of Palestine Brain.
I see this thread in not to argue! We should try to make our way of thinking clearer. To understand what we are. What we want to be..

I have some theoretic background that hint that the transformation we about to see/create will have Feminine quality. I wonder if you can see this quality in Palestine Brain. I see in the strong Feminist activity in the Israeli brain that seek post-Zionist brain.

we can describe our impression and thoughts and accept all views and descriptions. as we can see these "Brains" are part of the "communal Human Brain" and as such it has all thoughts.

Neri, Dr. Ali Harb use the term " open the black box" in terms of investigating the nature of a brain.
The Zio-Jewish Brain is very very complicated and have many sub-black boxes inside. Any challenge to open is very tough, demands risk and scarify from any side. This challenge is not convenient to the human laziness nature.
Our Palestine-Brain is indigenous "simple" one .. it provides concealment, natural progression ..

I agree that there is a difference in degree and also you may agree that when the Zio-Brain brought all those people who created Jewish-European-National-Brain presence in Palestine they changed life condition in such a way that we trapped the innocent palestinians who lived in a different life conditions (usually pre-industrial-revolution conditions)
Saying this cannot bring us back to history and I think the Palestinians of our time will want Internet connection and high-tech industry. To deal with the reality of the 21th century Palestine Brain needs to acquire new ability that will make it much less innocent. it will affect the governance structure and social cohesion and probably push the society to form "westen style" family (4 and less children).

One of the points Jafra brought about this is: the analysis i brought here looked into "Palestine Brain" as contributory phenomena which is wrong.
I accept his remark and think that I recognize that the "Palestine Brain" is not an artifact of the Zionist movement. and as i said, I am ignorant and has no internal view from within the Palestine Brain as palestinians have. I'll love to learn and understand it.
I still think we can all see that the Zionist and Palestine brain clash is also a signal for the influence on each other. The Post-Zionist Brain (that I see emerge) is recognizing its responsibility to the Palestinian condition, seek to resolve the Zionist paradoxes and wish to create healthy just relationship for the future with all. but by the Zionist Brain the Post-Zionist is just another threat. Actually I think that the Post Zionist Brain needs to manifest collaboration with the Palestine Brain, and for that we need some flexibility to accept Israel existence since the Post-Zionist brain recognize the value of Israel state as an open democratic post-nationalistic state where Jews and Arabs share the blessing of this territory. This is not an easy move for the Post Zionist Brain as it hard for the Palestine Brain,
When the Palestinian Brain attacks the Zionist values and drive, it is valuable to notice you are not closing all the path for progress, the Post-Zionist Brain, the identety of Israeli that can accessed by Arab and Jews need support from the Palestine Brain, if the communication continue to seek to get back to 18th century condition it only strengthen the Zionist Brain survival instinct and slow down the transformation we need from all sides.
The trick about this brain talk is understanding the communal brain is a phenomena of community. as such it cannot be created in closed room with conspiracy. with all the evil and wrong doing we can find in the way the Zionist Brain works, it is a public process and it can be tracked down in historic documents. The lowyers, unethical policy makers, soldiers and bankers are abusing the system thinking they doing what is legal or right. I think that the Jewish brain (world centric identity of Jews through history) developed strong system that make many Jews Bankers, Lawyers, civil service and politician. I do not think it is a conspiracy of evil, but it has power that was needed and executed by the Zionist Brain so I am not surprised it is interpreted as doing of pure evil. I hope you can see that too.
I think the current Israel Brain is in stress, as it want a different realty and not yet recognize how much it communal behavior is trapping us all in that realty. The shift is looked by the conflict, while the Palestine Brain is recognized as enemy and it has qualities as Hamas Brain. People who are attracted to this line of thought I presented here needs help from the Palestine Voice we need partners to the transformation that is needed.

Reality is an extension of our intentions. Unfortunately, the intentions of those bankers and lawyers were negative. Their intentions were full of fear and revenge (negative content). Furthermore, these intentions (illusive knowledge) flourished within the closed system (structures, organization and institutions) of the industrial era. As you can see, Israel still receives support from the remains of the industrial age such as international organizations, Western Government and narrow minded media networks (CNN and Fox news networks). These ailing systems still use the illusive theories of linear sciences to justify their hypocrisy and double standards. In an era of open knowledge (21st century), Israeli (individuals and groups) need to fix years of accumulated illusion to find their original brain.

agree with Khaled tonally.. Palestinian are victims of the "linear"-power-age. I believe even Jews negative mind set was featured upon that. It is not a matter of religious intentions. In certain history periods, Muslims blood flow with Muslims swards more than with non-Muslims.
The future is promising for us and the whole world. We have to come over this period with less losses. We are in transmission. That's why I could call for de-escalation. The used rusted power-formulas are methods of yesterday.
We have to look into the future with its new featured mind-sets and non-linear standards.

I totally agree that there is need a change in the Israeli individual and group world view. As i can spot some of the changes, I can also see the internal struggle of the old paradigms with the new ones. it is not an easy process to explain and to experience.
I think that the ability to change is not internal quality, it has a lot todo with the life condition. actually we are seeking a way to parallel shape the Israel Brain and the Palestine Brain since any "old ways" of thinking actually block ability of change within the Brain system - the Palestine-Israeli Brain.
