I consider this a vitally important paper. I ask all here to read it and reflect upon what he is saying. He writes about the role of discourse and dialogue and when it is possible.

This is material about Kook for those who had said that what has been written about him on Jerusalemites (as quoted from an Israeli journalist) was untrue. The material is from Israel Shahak and Norton Mezvinsky's book Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel.

Mary,
Note: I had deleted and than readded my previous comment to fix some spelling and HTML errors.
Other than that, I really have nothing else to add.

Hi Mary,
I wrote and meant "Khalid knows what I am talking about. Others, including many non-Jews, also have (access to) the same very real evidence."
I also wrote: "I think that Khalid Amayreh may well advocate for Hamas for reasons that are not clear to me. If so, in his case, it could be the lesser of the evils type of assessment." . In case that needs clarification, I meant by that, Khalid's assessment of his own circumstances.
I really have nothing to add to the above.
Be well... -- PmR
I am very aware that what I write here is in the public domain. I do not play character assassination games. Khalid knows what I am talking about. Others, including many non-Jews, also have (access to) the same very real evidence.
Be well...

Dear Mary,
Your views and assessments, and mine about certain issues are clearly rather different.
I repeat: Khalid Amayreh routinely calls Jews: Nazi. I meant Jews and NOT just the behaviors of some Jews. I have proof of that. His published articles imply that but never clearly state that.
For the record::
I have no problems with trying to communicate with those with whom I disagree. I know that I sometimes learn from such communications.
