What do we want?
I think, and many will agree with me, that if many people, millions, want something, they can do it, even if there's a smaller group that doesn't want it to be.
If this is true, and I believe it is, it should be easy to make peace, because so many people want peace. But the problem with peace, that it's not tangible*. In our mind, we have a picture of the peace that we are looking for. I think, that those pictures might be different for each of us, and so there aren't many people that want the same thing, but many people that want many different things.
So now I'm asking you a simple question, that can bring interesting answers- What is peace?

for me--peace is wanting the same thing for your neighbor that you would want for yourself (and family). The concept is simple-yet difficult-simple in its cognitive meaning-but difficult to actually carry out by some-for instance-can I with clear mind have a full table of food for dinner when I know my next door neighbor is starving?? No-the peace in me--the part that gives me peace and radiates peace--takes food over to my neighbor...there is internal and extenal peace--perhaps--one must look at the internal peace within each heart before trying to define the extenal - for in many cases-it is a mirror..and comes full circle...

Later in life (I am 60 this year), I learned one cannot pose this question without asking 'what is shalom / salaam'?
What is the difference between 'peace' and 'shalom'? They are actually distinct concepts, though essentially inseparable.
It will have simple site, and a professional photographer to give the lessons and comment on submitted pictures.
Will you join? Do you want to help in setting up the site? Mainly comment about text and design.
It will be great as the kids will be close to your age
No doubt, if there are more thinkers like you around the world - peace will come!
