Hi Hassen,
I have heard a lot about you from Roni, and I am very glad that we are on the same team for the photography course. I saw that your son will take the course too. That's great.
My wife is a teacher of art in a democratic school, here in Kfar Sava; where we live. She is trying to find children from her school to join the course too. Last year she sent paintings that were done by her students about peace to UNICEF (in the UN in New York). I hope that we will be able to exhibit the photos from our course to be displayed in UNICEF too. Best regards, yours Rami

Assalamu Alaikum Hassen,
I lived 4 years in Libya and visited Tunisia and Morocco but seem to have missed Aljazair! My comment follows:
Love Each Other
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "(Offer greetings to each other) and rancor will disappear. Give gifts to each other and love each other, and hatred will disappear."
We need to follow the path of Prophet Mohammed (SAL) if we wish to live in peace!
Hi Hassen I hope you are well and managing to keep up with all your meapeace correspondence! I read your response to Marwa regarding the treatment of Palestinians in arab countries and wondered if you regard Algeria an arab country despite the fact that a large proportion of the population is Berber. thanks d
Hassan,
thank you very much for your fast reply,I think it is not a critics to be a pacemaker and to show the actual situations and the History as well, because all of us make a part of this history?Speaking about Peace could be really difficult,and/or could be easy at the same time!!!!our Governments"Isra-pales"didnot arrived yet to a peace process, and we have this opportunity as a citezenz to express our openions and to sake hands and to live together as well ???i know that it could be a big critic to have such a photo, BUT,i would like to tell you that this represent a part of our tragedy,i have never used this photo to justify the palestinians or to blame the israeli, and the vica versa !!!!!because i do understand the israeli dolore toward thier (civil)victims,But in this photo as you see are SOLDIERS,"good prepared",and the VICTIM is a civil child, so in this photo i'am not blaming the israelis and justify the palestinians,BUt i'am calling the international society and the isr-pale society in specific to STOP both parts the violence, and to open a new page and to stop the dramatique scene, bleeding and the injustis, here in Israel and Palestine there are alot of people that want to live together and to be as normal as other parts of the world, and for me personaly,i do have a big majority of israeli friends that we love and respect each other,we live, work together, and we eat and sleep as well together,......but my photo is for those who dont know the reality, and for those who want to understand,,,,
much love and respect
Salam wa yom saeed
Shalom ve Yom tov

Hi Hassen, nice to meet you here. Whats going on in Algeria? We just hear bad news! I have been there when I was young, because my father is from near Tizi Ozou. I want to go again, but he ever says its to dangerous, so I decided to visit Israel and Palestine, (it's not that dangerous ;)) I can't get over all I've seen there and know I'm here... So good night, and tell greetings to the land of my roots.

Wow.
You are really a humble man. Good for you - that is one of the greatest attributes anyone can have. You probably could teach us a lot, whenever you feel ready.
Meanwhile, I totally agree that mepeace is a wonderful forum for learning about this situation and especially about the people involved in it.
Thanks for getting involved,
Yigal
