My personal story:: Born 1979, good jewish boy, tel aviv area, went into free flight model airplanes and competed till i was 18.
After 3 years army service, where I got to see the horros of te kibush first hand, i started volunteering in the green movement. Greenpeace was my first pick, unbelievable people, I probably had my first non military Arab-Jewish contact there (fighting the green fight together, there has to be some common goal!) . I fell into wind turbines, that is, small wind turbines for electricity production, the Do It Yourself style, and happily erected one or two in the following 3 years.
studied in the Technion, aeronautical engineer, and now doing my MS.c at Weizmann institute of science in Rehovot on a topic concerning solar energy utilizing.

Why I want peace:: The obvious reasons. It's the best, ethical and logical solution for any neighbors to live side y side. I don't see any other long term solution.

Interests and activities:: clean energy production, electric bycicles, electric flight, solar flight

Something you didn't know about me:: My honey moon was spent on an electric bike towing a solar panel, for 15 days, 700 kilometers across Israel.

What I want to achieve here:: meet the "other side". not with a uniform (on either one of us...)

i have read yr story it imoreesed me specially what u said about greenpeace .i think thiese issues wider than borders and really deseve all concernes,
we are palestinan and israeli group meet each month to discuse issues of environment .this project organized Van leer istitute .
do u still in connection with greenpeace?once i met friend from there his name is Avi i think he is the director of the organization
