- Like everyone, I have had some good times and some difficult times, a few disappointments, and a few successes.
- Why I want peace:
- The most important aspect of peace is: how do you get there?
Without peace, most people are unable to even start to live their lives, or worse still, their lives are destroyed, (not literally, just slowly through never being able to achieve anything meaningful).

- Environmental sustainability, History of architecture, The religious ideals of all the great religions, Spiritual and ethical values.
- Something you didn't know about me:
- I have been busy changing my garden into a kind of miniature woodland with flowers and bushes. This is creating a peaceful, enchanting atmosphere, and, most importantly, getting rid of the grass that would otherwise have to be mowed.

- What I want to achieve here:
- I have been looking at mepeace for 2 or 3 weeks, while I wondered if it would be possible for me to make a valid contribution. I find it is quite a lot to take in, and sometimes I am not even sure I understand what is being said, and yet I have been interested in the Israel/Palestine troubles for a long time.

Sanity is helpful....
Thank you for your recent request to be my mepeace friend. But too late, sorry! I have just been banished from this site by Eyal, apparently following a request by "TheFish", which is completely ridiculous and outrageous, of course. This site is indeed very far from peace-making and democracy. A few agressive right-wing Zionists succeeded to hijack it and are silencing whose who oppose their views, like Donna, Eva, and me presently, all this with the dumb consent of Eyal!!...
Unfortunately, this site is turning quickly to a bad joke and it is a pity for nice and honest people like you.

I've just received a request to be a friend from Bassam Aramin who gives a heart rending account of having been a fighter in the past and having lost his 10 year old daughter. I've sent him a comment to accept, but his request to be a friend does not appear on my page.
