- I am pleased to introduce myself as the Executive Director of the Goodwill social work centre (NGO), Madurai, India. I am a former professor and Head-Department of human resources management at the Madurai Institute of social sciences, Madurai, India. I received my master’s degree in Social work with HRM as a field of specialization from the Loyola College (University of Madras), Chennai, India in 1971 and Ph. D in social work/HRM from the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India in 1988.I hold a Certificate in International interdisciplinary Course on Children’s rights awarded by the University of Ghent, Belgium in 1996.
As an academic with 33 years of service, I have actively involved in Professional social work and HRM education and training, social research and field work practice in social work and HRM and have trained many batches of Post graduate students who have specialized in the field of Social work and Human resources management since 1972 at the Madurai Institute of social sciences, Madurai, India. Presently I am a visiting Faculty member at the Department of social sciences, Lady Doak College, (an autonomous institution accredited with Five stars by NACC and a College with potential for Excellence) Madurai, Tamilnadu, India and I have been teaching ‘Social Welfare and NGO Management’ and ‘Disability prevention and management’ to the women students of M.A in Applied Social sciences at the college. I have served as Visiting Faculty member of the Department of Management Studies, and the Department of Social work at The American college(an autonomous Institution accredited with Five stars by NACC-UGC,NewDelhi), Madurai, South India.

I have to my credit more than 90 articles on various social issues including HR related issues published in national and international journals and books. I have widely traveled abroad to present scientific papers in international conferences and seminars. I am a HR Educator and research consultant and involved in HR training activities. My special areas of interest include Professional social work practice, Human resources management, NGO /Civil society governance and management, Project management, training and capacity building for NGOs, Human rights training including child rights, social research etc. I have had wide professional experience in designing curriculum on Social work, Human resources management, HR training and Development, Family Life Management, Environmental education for children and Child Rights education and training for school children etc. I have had extensive experience in organizing ‘Intensive Family Preservation (family support services) programs’ for dysfunctional families. I have been actively involving myself in organising networking and capacity building programmes for Indian NGOs in the southern part of Tamilnadu,India. I have served as Lead Researcher of various social research studies undertaken by the Goodwill Social work Centre (NGO), Madurai, India.
I was appointed authorized Research Guide by the Madurai Kamaraj University for Ph.D Candidates in the field of Social work and HRM and I have so far guided three candidates who have qualified themselves for the award of Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) of the Madurai Kamaraj University.Madurai, India.
I am the VICE CONSUL of the First children's Embassy in the World Medjashi- Macedonia. I am an Observer Member of ALNAP, Overseas Development Institute, London, UN and a GU Associate member/Consultant registered with www.globalunification.com. I am a GLI NETWORKER and have registered as a member from India with www.glinet.org

Children have a right to peace
My organisation'Goodwill Social Work Centre' conducted a series of "Children have a right to peace' events for school children in a few schools in and around Madurai,Tamilnadu,South India. How is your 'Children have a right to peace' course going? I think this approach is a marvelous investment in the future.

The sting of all problems between Israeli and Palestinians lays in the Old City of Jerusalem. Her status has to be solved in such a way, that all parties fighting for control over her can agree upon.
On June 24, the ‘Big Hug’ will be hold in Jerusalem. Light workers from Israel, Palestine and from all over the world, ‘Lovers of Jerusalem’, will come together to bring warmth and energy to this city, embracing holding hands the Old City. If we bundle all our positive energies and bring these to Jerusalem, we can create peace to this exceptional place.
We are organizing the Big Hug to make the people aware –especially the Israeli and Palestinian inhabitants of Jerusalem- that there is a very shaped perspective for the city of Jerusalem as a city of peace: a new, undivided Jerusalem, as the capital of Palestine, Israel and at large.
Let go of the conflict concerning her command and dedicate the city to the Omnipresent. The Old City as a whole is His Temple. To give the walled Old City free to God, as a "Status Apart”, as an independent city, will be the most feasible way to come out the current impasse.
The Old City of Jerusalem must become an open city; a House of Prayer for all the Peoples. This perspective is written down in the Holy Books, this is the perspective we, as ‘Lovers of Jerusalem’ embrace as well as solution. But how many people does already notice this hopeful point of view?
What I saw in Jerusalem and also everywhere else where I meet Islamic and Jewish people is, that not so many persons really think about a future for Jerusalem. Most of the time, they stick with old ideas that the Old City of Jerusalem will always remain a part of Israel, or in opposite, that it will be absolutely a part of a new Palestinian state, as stolen land that has to be given back. With these visions, a future Jerusalem will be a divided city with an East Palestinian and West Israeli part, with barbed wire and checkpoints in between, like the situation of the city from 1948-1967. Or, coming closer to an agreement, people suggest -like proposed in the “Geneva Accord” in 2003- to make a complicated dividing of the Old City in a Israeli and Palestinian part. That will mean that the small alleys will be split by walls and barriers too. The idea that a future Jerusalem will become a divided city, is something that we have to prevent.
There are living about 250.000 Palestinian and 500.000 Israeli rather close together in one city. Do they want to make a separation of Jerusalem in parts or do they choose, deep in their hearts, for unity? So my best friends, it is our task to inform the whole city that there is an alternative for the Jerusalem of today.
All lovers of a united Jerusalem will come together to encircle and embrace the Old City of Jerusalem with love and devotion. We have to encourage all inhabitants of Jerusalem to join the coming Big Hug, with the idea of a New Jerusalem that might be realized with their support.

Amjad Group is an independent group born essentially from an initiative launched by a group of active Palestinian youth in the civilian and union field and others of those who are interested in creating a powerful youth mass capable of developing and strengthening the youth role in the community, and by investigating in social programmes that expresses youth demands considering them the largest tranche in the Palestinian community .
Amjad Group had observed the light in March 1997 to proceed as a distinct youth model.
Amjad Group seeks to establish it's goals through improving the civilian community principles and encouraging the efforts of those who believe in these principles and those who are active in the transformation to a democratic community.
Amjad Group among all seeks to study the youth demands and involving them in building specialized programmes and plans in order to develop and enhance their skill, besides involving them in changing their reality life and pushing the community towards developing community principles away from intolerance and discrimination.
.Amjad Group consists of members of workers according to the primary statute , an annual meeting is arranged to approve the administration managment strategy and oversight it,The administration's members are elected once every 3 years.
The executive management and the group's work team are choosed by the general administration through special professional conditions, the work of this executive management is to establish the strategies of the group through a number of plans and programmes, and reporting periodically.
Amjad Group is well known through a number of associations and NGOs which are specialized in the field of education, culture, politics, rescue, health, agriculture, sports, women, children, human rights and resources.
