Relationship Status:: Married

My personal story:: I lived in Israel for 10 years, married to an Israeli guy. We have an 8 year old son. I am back in Ottawa completing my MA in conflict studies.

Why I want peace:: We plan to move back to Israel in a few years. I want my son to be able to leave the house and us not to worry that he will be killed. I want the same for all Palestinian parents.

Avaaz campaign towards a Gaza ceasefire

Many of you may already be aware of this Avaaz campaign towards Israelis and Palestinians. Egypt's intelligence chief is about to make a visit to Israel -- bringing a ceasefire offer he has brokered with all the Palestinian groups.
