A call for help

A week ago, two Palestinian youths were brutally attacked by a gang of Jewish youths. You can read the details in English at http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/988477.html. I don’t know how much press this is getting and I realize that far worse things happen on both sides. It seems to me that these things happen in different forms, perpetrated against and by each side and to varying degrees. And most of us sit back and think how sad and wish we could do something to help. And then we forget o… Continue

Avaaz has asked thousands of their Israeli and Palestinian members to help sign a petition calling for Olmert and Meshaal to stop the bloodshed and agree to an immediate ceasefire, and for the international community to engage constructively and help broker a fair dea… Continue

Thanks, man! It's been quite the journey -- I hope to see you in the fall sometime! I want to organize some 5-7 for people to have a beer and talk conflict - or resolution - or beer.

Corey -
I am sorry to have left your comment to me hanging without a response. I had some eye surgery that limited my interactions with the computer. I wanted to thank you for your honesty and sincerity. I am not going to try to rationalize against anything you said, as those were your sincere feelings (and I do understand what you are saying). I hope someday you will be able to put your fear aside. Maybe someday we can pick olives together in Anin.
Be Well,
Catherine
