Hello Michael-
So you're picking olives? I just received my confirmation from JAI. Where are you picking? I would love to hear more. I picked near Jenin last year and it was an amazing experience.
Hi Michael!
So I remember reading on Couchsurfing that you are originally from Russia-- did you move before the fall of the Soviet Union or after?
What was there? Did you face any discrimination?
My great grandparents are from what is now the present day Ukraine.
Some of my Great Grandmother's sisters were able to escape to what was then Palestine. My Great Grandmother tried to get (ca. early 1920s), but my Great Uncle was already born, and the British would not allow them in.
I am just interested in hearing everyone's family sotires :)
Hi there Michael thanks for the info. No worries about the Hebrew I am fluent! No only joking. I will get my girlfriend to translate. Hopefully see you soon. Cheers. Max.
Hi Michael!
This is Stephanie from CS :)
I am glad to see that you are on here!
It seems like a lot of people from "Peace in the Middle" group are on here!
Shalom-salaam Michael,
I just read your July 16 post in the discussion on Why Israel Won't Accept a Two-State Solution, with a long citation from Bernard Chazelle. Excellent! Many thanks.
Blessings,
-Hayyim
Hi Michael,
Thank you so much for the offer. I will be in Cape Town to visit my mother and family during this time so unfortunately I will not be able to attend the Peace Cafe. However, the next meeting I hope to attend and perhaps we can go together. Thanks all the same.
