p.s. Do you have any ties with Bethlehem University? I had the chance to meet a couple of B.U. teachers and students two weeks ago.
My friend Basel, his family owned a furniture store in Bethlehem (or they did before they moved), so I don't know if that helps :S
When I see your last Halabi, it for some reason reminds me of the word habiti..he.h.e.
I live in Massachusetts-- have you ever been to the US?
Be well and keep in touch

My name is Stephanie, and I noticed that we are friends on here, but we've never really talked.
So how are you?
I see from your pictures that you are really good friends with two of my friends-- Eyal Raviv + Yoni Vendriger (Yoni is helping me make an interfaith/students for peace group at my college).
And that's cool that you are from Bethlehem-- my best friend is from there (he is Palestinian), but his family moved to the US a couple of years ago due to the violence after the Second Intifada. But the good news is that his house is still there, and has not been destroyed, nor demolished or anything.
His name is Basel Bandak-- do you know him?
Take Care
Stephanie :)
I'm writing you from Lebanon and I'd like to know if you are part of any grassroots NGO yourself.
It was great meeting at the IPCRI workshop and going to the Tent...
Hope we meet again soon.
Peace,
yoni
